Student Mentor Program

Who Should Apply

This program is especially for high school seniors. We’re not looking for the perfect, straight-A student; we want the underdog who works hard, is service oriented and needs a scholarship for a greater chance of success in college. Ideal candidates are solid students, willing to serve, eager to learn, and open to mentorship.

How it Works

Students will help identify service opportunities at their school and/or in the Washington County area and actively participate and lead efforts. They will work with other students from surrounding high schools.

We will have multiple leadership training sessions throughout the year with local members of the community. The focus will be on character development, communication skills, leadership skills, time management and responsibility, academic and career planning, resilience and coping skills, and more.

Each student will receive a $1,000 scholarship at the end of the year.
